we need some way to boot people from our ships. I have have had a few glitch on my ship making it hard to repair, get cargo, land. it wouldn't be so bad but they sink it. and then you stuck with no ship.

It's a shame we can only boot people from our ships during SvS but not our normal sailing duties. I too have suffered a 'glitched' pirate on my ship and even when you teleport back some will NOT tp off!! It's so infuriating, having to wait until they get disconnected from the game or log out themselves. Til that time, NO ship!
Not only those pirates, but also those that are rude and shout for you to PORT NOW!!! every 5 minutes, or CAN I DRIVE!. (no manners ) I can't believe how rude some people are. You kindly open your ship to all and sundry and end up with some (sometimes) who won't leave even after a kindly reminder.
I say, 'Bring on the Boot!!'

100% completely agree.
Unfortunately it is not only when you open your ship up to everyone that this crewmate deviance occurs. I have had friends of friends come aboard (somehow) and behave in the same manner and makes for an awkward situation-sometimes, dropping off at an island is the only way to attempt to rid yourself of unwanted passengers and this is time costly and disruptive.

During fleets especially I have quite a strict sailing regiment and those that don't adhere to commands put the entire crew at risk.

I too call for the boot.

Did you submit that using the Test Bug Report? I think they need to hear about that.

Yea, I agree you need a boot button for this problem. We should suggest that and maybe they will make a update happen.

I have had this happen a few times as well, and I have sent e-mails to the powers that be about this to no avail. Its odd there is no appetite to include a boot in normal sailing for the Captain (I guees to prevent the Captain keeping all the plunder for themselves :icon_gold: , but thats the risk a pirate takes on a new ship).

I have in the past reboarded and sunk the ship myself to ditch the offender - if the ship is going to be sunk, I should be leading the charge, but that's just me. :psmiley35:

Here's what I want to know: Why is it that when they do an update, they seem to always BREAK something that WAS working fine. Boarding permissions USED to work FINE. How did this go wrong??? And WHY haven't they fixed this??

Well this went wrong by me opening my ship to public for help a pirate week. At first it was fun and i found crews that worked very well together. This time out was going well also but when i tried to land the ship i didn't know that someone was hidden inside the ship itself. some how there is a glitch in your ship that lets players to go inside the ship. i have been in this glitch before but it happened while i teleported to a friends ship that just set sail. this may have happened as i tried to land my ship as the player boarded my ship at the same time. but the ship had little wood left holding her together and a storm reaper on our tails. the ship was sunk by the time i got to the shipwright for repair.

Perhaps a new boarding button could be implemented? Like open ship, but apply to captain for permission to board. When clicked on would be a pop up for the captain to accept or decline permission. Call the option/button "Captain's Boarding"? This would allow us to recruit crew without the hazards of the open ship option, and prevent abuse of "planking" (if it was an option).
Just my 2 pieces of gold thought. Have no idea how you can prevent the glitched on purpose problem tho, that be up to Goofy to fix, LOL
